Gershman YMCA

The Gershman Y is located in the cultural heart of Philadelphia on the Avenue of the Arts and stands proudly among theaters, restaurants and performing arts venues as a visible, tangible symbol that arts and culture - including Jewish arts and culture - are very much alive and well in Philadelphia. Since 1923, The Gershman Y has provided social, cultural and spiritual programs and services to the community at this location; we are the Philadelphia area's only Jewish affiliated institution dedicated exclusively to arts and culture. This season is filled with vibrant and stimulating speakers and events, including the acclaimed Philadelphia Jewish Film Festival and Borowsky and Open Lens Galleries exhibits.
